Programs tailored to the arts community
Helping artists as well as cultural organizations involved in arts and culture is a vital part of our mission. Your accomplishments directly influence the success of Northeast Ohio’s schools, economy and quality of life. To help you further your mission, we engage in a variety of capacity building programs and services.
- The Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute, a course of study designed to help individual artists operate in the marketplace more effectively.

- Artists in Residence, a pilot program demonstrating how artists help neighborhoods and how neighborhoods help artists.
- Arts and Culture Roundtable, periodic meetings of representatives from the arts and culture community to discuss issues of common cause.
- Collaborative Marketing Database, a shared database of arts and cultural buying activity contributed by member organizations for the purpose of increasing attendance at, and revenue from, arts and cultural activities.
- COSE Arts Network, a partnership with the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) that provides artists with access to affordable health insurance and small business resources.
- Creative Workforce Fellowship, a one-year fellowship that will provide local artists with financial and professional development resources.
- CultureADD, (Access, Diagnose, Develop), an online business practice performance assessment and diagnostic tool for arts and culture organizations interested in exploring the effectiveness of their operations.
- From Rust Belt to Artist Belt, a regional conference discussing how we can continue to position the region as a national creative hub and urban laboratory for reinventing "Rust Belt" cities through arts and culture.
These offerings help artists and arts and culture managers develop useful strategies and tools for reaching individual and organizational goals.
